| My work currently involves the investigation
into the materials used in oil painting. This includes various media and binders. This process results in
differing levels of viscosity of oil.
I am also exploring the optical qualities of various pigments, such as metallic, iridescent, interference and duo-chrome pigments, which refract and interfere with reflected light. This combination enables thought-provoking surfaces
to emerge. The often fortuitous results allow the viewer’s imagination the luxury of fantasy.
