My work focuses on our perceptions of the ‘virtual’ and ‘actual’ realities, in particular using the environments of video games as physical worlds.

Through various media, I aim to manipulate and cross the boundaries between what we understand to be the ‘illusion’ and ‘real’; the ephemeral and tangible. These processes include craft-based, unique one-off pieces of work that represent the mass produced images and worlds that today’s society is accustomed to.

My interests also lie in looking at the complex relationships between the ‘high’ and ‘low’ culture within society, both towards video games and craft-based processes.
