The next exhibition in The Windows Project is opening at Nexus Art Cafe from 7.00 pm on Thursday 12th May and runs until July 12th. A new artist has joined the project - Andrea Cotton - with work based on objects found in the prison environment. My own work continues to be informed by what effect institutionalisation has on the individual's identity in such an environment.
On June 24th, there will also be an evening of performance, poetry etc. with a slightly humourous stance, called The Bright Club. You can access what all this is about on the Nexus Art Cafe website. The theme for this event is 'obsession'.
