Richard Page is a photographic artist based in Manchester and is currently Programme Leader of BA (Hons) Photography at Manchester Metropolitan University. His practice considers how encounters with place are bound to history and memory. He is the recipient of the Jerwood Photography Prize and his artist’s monograph "What We Already Know" was published by Ffotogallery. Richard has exhibited widely throughout the UK and abroad, including shows in London, Cardiff and Germany. His work featured in "Diffusion: The Cardiff International Festival of Photography" for which he curated and edited the exhibition and publication From "Common Differences". His work was included in "Perspectives on Place" (Bloomsbury 2015) and has been published in Portfolio magazine, the Guardian, Source, Art Review and Royal Academy magazines. Richard is currently working on a project in Spain, "The Dialogue Of The Dogs", the first part of which was exhibited at the Francesca Maffeo Gallery in 2017. In 2020 Richard curated the exhibition "Paper Geographies" at Manchester Central Library.
