One Two presents the work of Nina Chua with that of Tiago Duarte in an exhibition that addresses the aesthetic relationship between two works.
The work was selected by Mary Griffiths and invites the viewer into the common subtleties inhabiting each artists’ practice, such as the linear space between areas of print and drawing or the line of a journey that functions here as a common denominator for the show.

In re MONTAGE the artist asks ‘Is there a transformative energy in destruction? Do things have to break down before something new can occur?'
'One of my art practices from 2008 until 2012 has been mostly executed at home, drawings images from different resources: National Geographic, books, personal photographs... on recycle boards. And as an image maker, they will get destroyed and transformed to create one artwork.’
