Thirty Paintings About Nothing is a two person exhibition featuring Bankley AIR 2015 Martin Olsson and Bankley studio member Gary Andrew Clarke. The two artists have developed the exhibition following Olsson's artist residency at Bankley Gallery between December 2014 - March 2015.
"Without narrative beyond the paint itself, the works in this show take related yet opposing stances on colour, shape and progression. Movement versus stillness, multitude versus repetition within a reductive field are central aspects in this collection. Hard edges, flatness and adherence to fundamentals also unite these works."
