‘Process’ is a group exhibition featuring the work of current members at Bankley Studios. The exhibition invites you to engage in a variety of making and thinking processes, exploring the different methodologies behind artistic decision-making.
The work questions notions of the ‘finished’ artwork, how artists engage with their chosen medium and materials, and how the process of making ultimately informs the outcome. Process may also relate to a chosen subject matter and the recording of changing states within a series of actions.
Featuring sculpture, video, painting, drawing, textiles and photography, ‘Process’ aims to highlight the diversity of art practices at Bankley Studios, bringing them together to celebrate our newly refurbished Gallery Space.
The exhibition ties in a with a programme of talks, residencies and open studio events throughout May and June around the idea of ‘Process’. For more information please visit:
