BANKLEY OPEN 2025 – CALL FOR ARTISTS
£300 PRIZE + SOLO SHOW OPPORTUNITY AT BANKLEY STUDIOS & GALLERY, MANCHESTER

Bankley Studios & Gallery is thrilled to announce the return of its much-anticipated annual Open Call exhibition this October. Artists from across the UK and beyond are invited to submit work for consideration in the Bankley Open 2025, our headline group show of the year.

Open to all creative disciplines – from painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and photography to performance, installation, gaming, VR/AR, and sound art – the exhibition aims to showcase a diverse and exciting mix of contemporary practice.

A panel of respected curators and art professionals will select approximately 15 artists to take part in the exhibition, which runs 10–26 October 2025 at our Levenshulme gallery.

The First Prize winner will receive a £300 cash award and a solo exhibition at Bankley Studios & Gallery in 2026.

Submission Deadline: 7 September 2025 (midnight)

Selection Notifications: 15 September 2025

Exhibition Preview & Awards: 10 October, 6–9 pm

Entry Fee: £10 (non-refundable; up to two works, four images per work)
